Introducing - Amenta @Amenta

@playlist artwork

It's been a rather stressful couple of weeks for me. Lots and lots and lots of work, travelling across London, and many late nights and early mornings which all in all has fully tired me out. (But as they say, no rest for the wicked, or as I prefer, no rest for a dream chaser).

This slightly low mood may very well be the reason why I'm loving this beautifully crafted mixtape below. Oh believe me, I would still enjoy this whether I was bouncing off the walls with energy but, I guess, in my somber mood I appreciate the attention to detail in these tracks more.

The said mixtape I am talking about is titled Sacred Places by Toronto singer Amenta. Her heavy mixture of trance, electronica and soul has kind of had me in a daze of musical wizardry and dark fog for a while. That doesn't make sense does it.....right! Uhhh. you know when you listen to The Weeknd or Delilah, you get that kind of haze. Like you're understanding but REALLLLLLLY you know that you're not really understanding it that much but still, you enjoy. Get it? Well whatever.

This is a beautifully crafted mixtape (I said that before didn't I? *reaches for thesaurus*) and really conjures an array of emotions. Prepare for deep mood swings pon de play button.
