Not just another normal Monday...

So you woke up this morning thinking 'ooooh great! another week on the grind, why do monday's have to exist? Seriously WWHYY!!! oh and its raining ergggh' but hold that thought ladies and gentleman because THIS IS NOT just your average Monday.

Today is in fact the day that the amazingly talented Jessie J album 'Who You Are' is RELEASED so I recommend you take that misery look off your face as its not everyday that one of Britain's most talented acts to come out of 2011 releases an album is it?

I'm so glad that the release date got pushed forward a month, I don't think I could have waited any longer and I'm sure you feel the same way too. With this being the release date of course the first thing I did was hop to my local branch of *cough cough* Sainsburys and check out the album in person.

Beautiful isn't it?! You can just feel the melodic beats and catchy lyrics trying to penetrate their way into your ear drums.

Here's the album cover in its full glory (minus the massive £9.99 stamp on it, this is what happens when HMV shuts down in your area lol!)

Here's 2 of my favourite tracks off the album, the first one is the next NEXT single to be released after Casualty Of Love called 'Nobody's Perfect' and the second is 'Rainbow' which like 'Price Tag' just makes you see the world in a cast of brightly coloured lights and smiles (No? That's just me huh? OK!)

Happy Monday :)

My (Belated) Obsession Of The Week!

Soorrryyy! In the hustle and bustle of life I actually didn't post my obsession of the week yesterday like I usually do every friday. How rude of me right? I know, I should get a dirty slap round the face but lets remember that everyone is allowed a mistake every now and again. That's what keeps things interesting ah? (More like I'll do or say anything to avoid a dirty back hand round the face) but annyywhhooo.

Back to the business at hand. My Obsession of the week this week is from a women who took centre stage at the Brits this year bringing almost everyone to tears. By saying that you probably know who it is already. Yes, the beautiful Adele. She stole all our hearts with her performance of new single 'Someone Like You' taken from her album '21' which shot to number 1 in the UK and is set to do the same in the American charts very soon.

The track I choose for my obsession is one of my favourites from her album titled 'Turning Tables' which was written by Adele and Ryan Tedder which is about some of the problems Adele had in her previous relationship.

The stunning lyrics and soulful voice from Adele had my completely obsessed with the song and I'm sure you'll think the same!

NEW VIDEO - Selah ft Donaeo - I Want You Out My House

You may have seen my post this song as my Obsession Of The Week a few weeks ago and now we have a vvviidddeeeo! I feel sorry for the guy in this video because he just looks stupid. Let this be a warning to all guys out there, if you wanna cheat, get your own house so you don't have to be kicked out! Oh and look, its Donaeo, Dooonnaaeeeooo, ah, lord-a-mercy (you get it!).

Awesome funky song for this Saturday afternoon.

Well, This is weird, Mike Posner covering Adele

When I initially saw this swirling around on the Internet I was actually really excited. I thought great, an awesome new artist covering a beautiful song sung by one of the UK's best female artists at the moment, could this get any better? Actually, it got worse.

What I thought was going to be an awesome melodic cover is actually an extremely odd remix with Mike Posner's voice not living up to the track. Hmmm a bit harsh? Maybe. You decide...

Yasmin - Finish Line

I've liked this song for quite a while now and I haven't posted it because I've been waiting for the video but I have no patience so here you go. This is relatively new UK artist Yasmin's second single produced by Labrinth titled 'Finish Line' detailing the final moment in a relationship where you and your partner now its comng to an end.

I previously posted an acoustic version of this song that she did during her Maida Vale studio session which you can hear just by clicking on this link http://buzzinunlimited.blogspot.com/2011/01/youve-heard-of-yasmin-right.html

In the mean time, enjoy :)....

Jessie J - Casualty of Love

I heard this song quite a while ago so I have no idea why I haven't posted it sooner but oh well, this is Jessie J's next single from her first album 'Who You Are' titled Casualty Of Love produced by Martin K. It's a slow ballad that just demonstrates another side to this amazing artist.

'Do It Like A Dude' and 'Price Tag' were smash hits and I'm certain that this will be too. Also with growing popularity in America (This track has already been released in America) and other countries around the world she is soon to be taking over the world!

NEW VIDEO - Dr. Dre ft. Eminem, Skylar Grey - I Need A Doctor

After 12 years DETOX is nearly here. Dr Dre is taking a step back into the spotlight with new single 'I Need A Doctor' featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey taken from his new album 'Detox' due for release on April 1st 2011. This is the second single from the long awaited album and is set to storm the Amercian charts when its released.

NEW VIDEO - Wretch 32 ft Alex Mills - Anniversary

Fresh off the massive successful from his hit single 'Trakor' Wretch 32 is back with a new video and song titled 'Anniversary' taken from his first album 'Black and White'. This track featuring the vocals from Alex Mills shows Wretch's softer side as he raps about the ups and downs experienced within a relationship and wait.

No it can't be!

Wait I think it is.

Is that...Bolton from Waterloo Road? YEP. His appearance makes the video just that more enjoyable to watch. I'm sure you'll agreed. Check it out....

NEW VIDEO - Jodie Connor Ft Tinchy Stryder - Bring It

WOO-ZA! Someones working the 'look deep and strut' look ah?! I'm loving this new up-beat party single from Jodie Connor ft Tinchy Stryder.

This woman has clearly left her past collaborations behind and is doing it on her own (well, with a bit of help from Tinchy in this track but you get the point) but with or without him Jodie Connor is bringing it. Pun intended. :)

Enjoy....

New Discovery - Neon Hitch

Whatta name. Neon Hitch! That's actually her REAL NAME! Kinda hits you in the face like a lightening bolt (Well I think it does anyway). I just recently discovered this artist and I'm already in love, I have no idea why I haven't heard of her before because she's worked with awesome artists such as Ke$ha, Imogen Heap, Bruno Mars and Jason Derulo just to name a few.

Born in London but travelled the world as a street performer and trapeze dancer (not many people get to say that!) this girl has bought a breath of fresh air to my playlist, maybe its the piercings, firing red hair or this infectious song that now has me seeing Neon.

If you've never heard of her then now you do. I've listened to a few of her songs but this one is my favourite so far. Get To Know!

Mz Bratt Gets DARK!

FINALLY this track has a video. I heard this track mid last year after Mz Bratt premiered it on BBC 1Xtra and I've been waiting for a video ever since.

Mz Bratt doesn't failure to impress with this photoshoot style video demonstrating that ladies in the UK music industry know how to, in the words of Mz Bratt herself 'Get Dark' in fabulous 5 itch heels.

Hold It Against Me Cover

This is Taio cruz's cover of Britney Spears latest single 'Hold It Against Me' but minus the auto tune and unnecessary advertisements. Is it strange that I actually like this version more then the original? Maybe its just because Taio's voice showcases the song's lyric in a way that Britney and her Sony TVs just didn't do. Nevertheless this is a great cover.

Brand New Katy B!!!

'Lights On' has been out for a while now and we all love it but finally Katy B releases another track from her album 'On A Mission' due for release on March 28th! So we've heard dubstep from Katy in the form of first single 'On A Mission' and some funky in 'Lights On' but new track 'Broken Record' has a new Electronic sound with some techno beats threw in too.

This girl never failures to surprise us ah?! Love It.

Chris Brown Raps!

We're all familiar with Chris Brown's vocals that with videos such as 'Take You Down' and 'Yo Excuse Me Miss' has made girls all around the world melt but has Chris had a change of direction?

We see glimpses of Chris's rap skills in songs such as 'Deuces' and his latest track with UK rapper Chipmunk which may have influenced his video for the rap song 'Rap Hip Hop Shit' as you do see similarities in this video and early UK grime videos. OK its clear that Chris is no Kanye West but he can definitely carry a beat.

Do you think Chris Brown could make it as a rapper?

Cee Lo Green - Robot Sex!

After winning Best International Male at The BRITs this year Cee Lo Green is in all our good books and maybe that is reflecting in his songs as clearly in this track Cee Lo is feeling rather good about himself. In new song 'Robot Sex' Cee Lo expresses his female knowledge to the world by informing us that in fact women really don't want Robot Sex (You'll have to say bye bye to your I Robot fantasy then!) and that what they really want is that human touch. Very smooth and educational Cee Lo.

Take a listen to the new track... :)

Parade - 'Rokstar' Acoustic

I can't wait for this girl group to take over!

Maverick Sabre - Round Here

I've been listening to this London born singer songwriter for a while now and I love his stuff! He goes for the name of Maverick Sabre, his voice is original, soulful and the dirty, underground beats behind his voice makes it burst out of your speakers!

He's most recently hit the mainstream with his track 'Look What I've Done' taken from his latest EP 'Lost Words' released on 7th March. This is another track from the long awaited EP called 'Round Here', keep you eye on this guy, he's gonna be big!

Obsession Of The Week!

Yes you've been waiting for this moment all week and its finally arrived. Obsession of the weeeeeeeeeeeeek!

This week I've chosen a track from UK urban artist Cleo Sol. You might remember her from tracks such as Davinche - Hero and Bashy - Riding Love. If you don't know her then you need to GET TO KNOW! This track is an ultimate speaker banger as Cleo sings her beautiful vocals behind some basement beats. Could you ask for more on a friday? I think not. Enjoy ladies and gents :)

Ever since then I've been hooked on this firecracker called Spark. Here's one of her songs I've had on repeat for the last hour.

Diddy Dirty Money - I Hate That You Love Me

NEW VIDEO! This is the most recent single from Diddy Dirty Money titled 'I Hate That You Love Me' taken from the album 'Last Train To Paris'. The song pretty average but the video does remind me of the early days of B2K and Destiny's Child with the colour change, also because of the extremely odd hair styles shown by the girls.

Have a look yourself :)......

Giggs Ft Example!

One of the most anticipated grime mixtapes to be released this year is Giggs -Take Your Hands Off. Known for songs such as 'Look What The Cat Dragged In', 'Talking The Hardest' and 'Hustle On', Giggs has accumulated a massive fan base which spans across England and many parts of the world. One of the main reasons around his latest mixtape's hype is the amount of awesome collaborations with artists such as Waka Flocka, Joe Grind and my personal favourite; the track below titled Look Over Your Shoulder ft Example!

Obsession Of The Weeeeek!!

Friday is here and of course in true Buzzinunlimited style I have an Obsession of the week song to present to you. In light of recent extremely sexy video releases such as Rihanna 'S&M' and Keri Hilson's 'The Way You Love Me', this week's obsession fits in quite well. Can you guess? I'll give you some clues. It was released in 2002 and shocked the viewing public as they had never seen this such artist in as many little clothes and gyrating in this 'Im not so innocent' manner. It catapulted this star into the sexual thoughts of men everywhere but was unsuccessful in the America charts as it only reached number 48.

Have you guessed yet?!

Here's another big clue. The first 3 words of the song are...Dirty. Filthy. Nasssssty!

You MUST know what song I'm talking about now!? Yeeeep its Christina Aguilera's 'girl next door' to 'sex symbol' song Dirrty. I remember watching the video and just thinking, I seriously hope my mum doesn't come in lol! Anywho, enjoy :)

Wretch 32 ft Example - Unorthdox!!

Voted as one of MTV's Brand New For 2011 artists for us to watch, Wretch 32 is definitely living up to his title. After his first smash single 'Trakor' hit the UK charts at number 5 Wretch 32 has every intention of continuing his success. With his second album 'Black and White' set for release later this year Wretch is clearly set to follow in the footsteps of successful British rappers such as Tinie Tempah, Professor Green and Tinchy Stryder alike. Here is the next single from Wretch featuring the pop/dance master himself Example! Cant wait to see the video but in the mean time we can enjoy this fresh music from these two awesome artists.

N Dubz - Morning Star!

Oh don't you just love a new video on a Monday night!?

This is the new one from N Dubz titled Morning Star that their hoping will help them break into America. Well there definitely going the right way about it so far with this American friendly video complete with CGI, unfitted suits and the beautiful 'What am I thinking?' looks given from Tulisa.

I have to say I don't particularly like the song, it just doesn't have the same N Dubz street flair that previous tracks such as 'I Swear' and 'Better Not Waste My Time' had. Nevertheless! We gotta support the London trio because America does need a new lease of British-urban life ohhh yeah! :)

Introducing Natalie May...

Why haven't I heard of this woman before? I discovered Natalie May today through a good friend of mine and now I'm addicted.

This song is a perfect fusion of R&B, Electronica and Dubstep (Could you ask for more?) kinda reminds me of Katy B but with an afro!. This is her song 'Closer' that my friend introduced me too but her others such as 'Sexy Sexy' and 'I Wish I Was A Football' are just as awesome....

Have a listen yourself, Natalie May - Closer!

FEMALES TAAAKKKKEEEOOOVVEEERRR!

WOOOO! Its pretty clear that British men are making a mark on the music scene with Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32, Labrinth and many others storming the charts but don't forget about the beautiful ladies who are also about to dominate the scene :) This track uses the instrumental of Tinchy Stryder's Game Over and puts a beautifully rough female twist on it featuring urban acts such as Ruff Diamondz, Baby Blue, Cherri, Mz Bratt and many more. I wouldn't mess with these ladies. Watch out boys ;)

Obsession Of The Week!

Its Friday ALREADY! Woo this week went quick and it seems time travelled just as fast in the music industry as I was bombarded with songs that I've been playing 24/7 all week. As I'm finding it an extremely hard task to narrow my favourite songs of the week down to just one I'm going to put 2 amazing songs up! Just because I CAN!

This week you've already seen me post about Lupe Fiasco's long awaited return and it seems he has no chance of slowing down as his second single has already hit the Internet. Featuring Skylar Grey (you may know her from Diddy Dirty Money - Coming Home) in the track you get Lupe's usual politically based lyrics that hit your ears like bullets. Gosh I've missed him, so without further or do....

Lupe Fiasco Ft Skylar Grey - Words I Never Said

Here's my second choice for  my Obsession of the week. Very different from Lupe Fiasco as this is a bit of funky house that I just noticed has been a genre that I haven't written about a lot on this blog. As you might have seen from previous posts and my page 'About The Writer' I enjoy dancing and jumping some shapes on the dancefloor. Who doesn't really when that beat hits your bones like a gust of fresh funky wind and the track Selah Ft Donaeo - Out My House did exactly that for me this week. The beat had me moving so I feel it is perfect to have this as one of my choices for my Obsession Of The Week.

The Way You *Rub yourself up and down my screen* Love Me!

Well, isn't this great Friday night entertainment. Keri Hilson thrusting her pelvis into our TV/computer screens and touching herself well over what should be publicly allowed. Nothing like Rihanna's latest video 'S&M' but definitely a step up in the sexy verging on soft porn act.

In the video you see 'Ms Keri Baby' and her group of badly dressed bad girls (some you might recognise I.E. Jo 'where have you been? Jo, Dawn from Dirty Money and Faith Evans) gather as they discuss taking down Keri's man because of the way he loves her? Yes, it makes no sense but I don't think in making this video that they really were thinking about a storyline, more like how much skin can we show in 4 minutes without scaring us all

On the plus side the video definitely shows how hot Keri's body is, it's a great demonstration of Ms Hilson's dance skills (minus the insane grinding on a wall) and of course illustrates that making music will also guarantee you a great bikini wax.

Check the video out for yourself ladies and gentleman but remember as Keri Hilson states in the video 'this anit no pretty girl rock' :).....

You Think Your Cooler Then Me? Yes Lil Wayne Is!

Yes I know the title is a massive cliche but in a strange way I think it works. Anywho, you know Mike Posner, you can't turn on the radio without hearing his song 'Cooler Than Me' that was in all our heads over the past 4 months but move on people!

This Amercian singer/songwriter/producer is soon to be releasing his single 'Please Don't Go' but we're not interested in that at the moment. This song is the boooooom. Smooth and sexy is what comes to mind when hearing this ttuunnneeee and with Lil Wayne featuring it sure as hell dirties it up! Listen to this song and I'm pretty sure you'll be humming the BOOM CHICKA WOO WOW!

Riding Solo.

Well well well, isnt that a familiar face ah? Yes you know her as Keisha from the Sugababes but after her departure from the group in early 2010 she is now riding solo.

At the moment she's in the middle of recording her first solo album but I'm guessing this song is a demo or shall I say a taster of what we have to come. Enjoy :)

BOOM! Rihanna - S&M Official Video!

Well the album is called Loud and this is definitely something to shout about. Rihanna's new video I would say is a mix between Nicki Minaj and a rainbow coloured sex shop. Yes you heard me! Well the song is called S&M. There's a lot of finger-licking, gyrating and a cameo from Perez Hilton to say the lest, could this be Rihanna's sexiest video ever? For now maybe, but we can never be to sure with this ever changing Caribbean Queen so we shall just have to keep watching this space. Up until then, enjoy the video, (Don't watch it if your mum/dad or younger sibling are in the room!)

Favourite Lyric: I might be bad but I'm perfectly good at it, sex in the air, yeah I love the smell of it.
