I love love love Nina Sky and I'm so happy that this album is finally out for me to rinse! I'm surprised they gave it away for free but it sounds like they've had label issues unfortunately so maybe it was their only option but nevertheless, they have made a great album which I'll be playing for a very long time. LOVE.
Giving R&B a nice kick up the ass, is this relatively new artist on the scene, Lucille Ghatti. The California native is making epicly dreamy, R&B Neo-Soul music with a gangsta twist. It's beautifully ambient, weed smoking music basically as she is a big fan of the green herb. I just really love the music, it has a great energy so I'm excited to hear more and also delve into her past material to uncover some hidden gems from there as well. Check her out!
Love me some JaJa, I first blogged about the las in April this year and now here's some now material with her on a Xaao beat. It's a chilled vibe but very very sexy and rather beautiful. Left wanting more....
It been a while since Baby Blue released some music, last was the ever so catchy tune Play and now the female rapper presents new track Target. It's pretty feisty, really like the singing element added to it with the gritty rap vibbbbbbbbbbbbbe, Nice!
It's been a crazy long time since I first blogged about Etta Bond back in May last year, since then she's been in Live Magazine (I'm music editor and OF COURSE I had to put her in), had a single with Wretch 32, and is now launch her own shizzle in the form of EP Emergency Room with her producer Raf Riley.
This is the first video from the EP, I love it love it. LOVE the concept, the video, the tune itself, Etta is just sick. Bring on mooooooooooooooore.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Just realised this has been in my drafts for ages, I forgot to press publish. :O. Annoy. Anywho....
I blogged about Kwabs a while back in February when I fell in love with his Corinne Bailey Rae cover, I then went to see him live at Millys World and was blown away, no understatement! If you're still not familiar with him and his talent have a listen to these two beauties before, prepare to melt!
I'm a big fan of Archeo me. I love the quirky kind of marmite approach to his music but this track is a bit to yellow for me.
And when I say yellow I mean as in its quite safe, its not the quirky weird Archeo music that my heart warms to but ethier way, its great to show a different side so of course I needed to showcase it. Give it a check-a-ruu.
Ohhhh I love the concept of this. This is the first single from Jin Jin & The Ragdolls forthcoming album Rhythm Homicide. Produced by Bless Beats, by the sounds of this track it sounds like the album shall be an electro-pop kind of affair. LOVING IT - everyones been through this situation, so relatable but yet extremely fun. Good times!
Chris Brown's new album Forture is out and shooting to number 1 around the world I hear. I gave it listen of course and found it to be rather boring as a whole, but there were some stand out tunes on there so here they are.
I've been meaning to blog about this guy for AGES now but I've been waiting for some new material and here it is, not the youtube videos but the soundcloud embed below. The young singer/songwriter has been on my radar for a while, I just love his polished look, the clear time and effort he puts into his material, videos and live performances.
He states his influences as the artists from the old school Motown labels as he grew up dividing his time between America and London which is very obvious in the material he puts out as it has that American shine but with his British accent which is sweet. It'll be interesting to see how he's talent evolves.
I listen to a lot of albums, I'd like to listen to more but theres only 24 hours in a day unfortunately but yeah I listen to a lot and so I thought why not share some of the great album tracks I listen to on my blog as not everyone has time to devote listening to albums so these posts I'll just embed a few highlight tracks from the albums I've been listening to so you dont miss out on some TUNES.
This post is tracks from the Justin Bieber - Believe album. I like the biebs and its an alright album. Here are the stay out tracks on it if you don't have a sec to check out the whole LP....
I really like this from Jordan James, the producer/singer always brings a different vibe to things, after already hearing a lot of his material this track in particular is a highlight of the stuff I've heard. Smooooooooth.
