I feel like Miguel is flying the R&B flag along right now (actually Franky O and Trey Songz are flying it to). I can't wait for the album, you can just see/hear how much he's evolved musically. Everything's just so much more mature and organic. Love love love it!
I've just been tweeting about how much I'm a big fan of this girl. I blogged about her timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ago and now she's launching her music in the US and hopefully *fingers crossed* in the UK as I'd love to see her at a show. Here's her US single Fade Away.
These lot were one of those acts I found on youtube randomly, subscribed, they didn't upload anything for ages or maybe I didn't see it and when they pop up again I think, when did I listen to these guys again? Then I press play and it all comes flooding back! New video from Portugal's Voxels.
SO many times I've said Disclosure are my generation's answer to the Artful Dodger and LOOK they drop an amazing remix of Artful Dodger - Please Dont Turn Me On which is one of my favourite TUNEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!! I'm in musical bless right now.
Oh my word it's been FOREVER since I last wrote about Jody Brock. He's been in hiding it seems making great music I'm told, I can't be mad at them for that. Here's his A64 on good old SBTV, quality shizzle right ere.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm so excited about this girl. I came across her today and was immediately intertwined with this track, brilliant stuff. The track is produced by a guy based in America called Lux and it's like a mix of Rock, Dubstep and Electro, just so very very intense. Yeah man, she's sick! More to come ;)
As you should know from reading this blog, I'm a big fan of Lucille Ghatti, I'm digging her trill R&B wave right about now and I love how she just releases music whenever she feels like it. Here's her new EP, it's not as good as the last EP I have to say but worth a listen.
Hello! I'm on facebook people, like it if you read my blog, I post photos and videos that I don't post on here on there (mainly because I'm not in love with the track but it's nice to keep people updated). Also, if you dont like the rubbish I talk about on twitter you can like this and unfollow me lol.
A nice new one from UK singer-songwriter Azekel. I blogged about him a long long long time ago, since it seems he's been in hiding making some great music and it's finally time for us to hear it, woop! I'm loving this track from his The Visit EP, it's very Frank Ocean meeeeeettsssss erm, N.E.R.D? Yeah, Frank Ocean meets N.E.R.D, and LABRINTH! Yes, it's like that, I enjoy this a lot.
As you should know, I'm a huge huge huge fan of Vince Kidd so I'm super excited for all the music to come from him, its been long over due I feel. Even though this track isn't 'new', its been re-mixed it seems with a pretty fresh verse from Lady Leshurr added on. Nice! It's great to see where Vince is now from when I first blogged about him, it's all about the journey people.
I saw this guy live like a month back and he had so much energy that you couldn't help but be endeared to him, he also had some pretty cool songs as well which is always good. Here's the video to one of the tracks he performed when I went to see him, Nutter. It's like frank British rap. I enjoy this!
I came across Saturday, Monday's beats a few days back, I just found the video to her track today, WOO! I'm loving this track from the Swedish (I LOVE SWEDISH MUSIC!) producer. This is her only real stand out track from what I've heard, the vocals and lyric from singer Julia Spada is a highlight which most definitely compliments the break-beat instrumental. Very nice!
It's been a long time since I wrote about Sid Sriram but now he's back on my blog with this track from his new EP Daydream. I can't wait for the full EP to surface, his voice is sooooooooooooo madly rich, beautiful stuff right ere.
I'm a big fan of Tinashe, she makes quality all the time so I'm excited for her journey to continue into when she releases her album with RCA. In the mean time she released mixtape Reverie yesterday and here it is, its a beaut, give it a listen.
I swear Zed Bias is just the sickest remixer, I love his remixes with a passion, he just knows what you need on the dancefloor. This is Zed's remix of Mike Delinquent ft Lady Leshurr's tune Step In The Dance - unbelievable vibes.
Here's the latest video from Seattle hip-hop-soul artist, Sol. The independent artist has been doing his thing for a while now and with every new track he comes more and more into his own. This track is taken from his album Yours Truly.
I'm a huge huge fan of Lucille Ghatti so when I saw this pop up on my soundcloud feed I jumped out my sit. It's a cool track, very dreamy like her other songs, I really like her kind of tender voice and the innocent lyric in it as well. Oh I need an album from her lol.
